How to Take
Mounjaro
Use once weekly as a subcutaneous injection.
Mounjaro is administered using the dedicated “Ateos” injection device.
- Clean the injection site.
- Check that the needle is securely attached.
- When the injection is complete, you will hear two “click” sounds.
Primperan 5 mg
Take 1 tablet per dose when you feel strong nausea or stomach queasiness.
You may take it up to 2–3 times per day, only when symptoms are bothersome.
Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
Mucosta 100 mg
Take 1 tablet per dose.
It is generally recommended to take Mucosta together with Primperan when needed.
Possible Side Effects
Mounjaro 2.5 mg or 5 mg
Possible side effects may include nausea, heartburn, low blood sugar, constipation, and diarrhea.
Primperan 5 mg
Possible side effects may include drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, diarrhea, and bloating.
Rare but important symptoms may include trembling fingers, muscle stiffness, neck arching backward, or eyes rolling upward. If these occur, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor promptly.
Mucosta 100 mg
Possible side effects are uncommon, but may include rash, itching, constipation, diarrhea, or bloating.
