Front-End Engineer
Position Details
What You Will Do
◉Develop and maintain front-end systems in Next.Js
◉Build, review, and help to design high-quality, maintainable code
◉Work autonomously with a high degree of ownership
◉Test and peer-review code
◉Research and develop new techniques, technologies, and ideas for improvements to the platform and products
Required Skills
◉Strong knowledge of React
◉Strong knowledge of TypeScript
◉Familiarity with React and CSS libraries (MUI, Ant.design, Elastic UI, Tailwind, etc.)
◉Fluent English
Salary
￥6,000,000 ~ ￥18,000,000 Yearly
（or ￥500,000 ~ ￥1,500,000 monthly）
Salary will be increased if applicant also has preferred skills
※Three month trial period with same pay as full-time. If promoted from contract employee to full-time, there will be no trial period
Preferred Skills
◉1+ years of commercial software development experience
◉Strong skills in core Computer Science (data structures, algorithms, etc.)
◉Japanese is not required but is an advantage
Role Summary
As a Web Developer at elife you'll be working in collaboration with the team to be the driving force behind our growth initiatives. You'll develop, implement and improve upon many systems and features that directly affect users' experiences for both our customers and our own team members.
In your work, you'll use the most modern developer tools, practices, and services to support our overarching business goals. Ideally, all this will result in the acquisition, retention, and loyalty of customers
You'll work together with people across our organization to tackle complex challenges so that elife can enter the next stage of growth and success.
